At Rainwater Studios, the song comes first.
We create studio demos that help original songs find the artists who will make them their own.
For a time, I worked on those songs with my friend Sam, a gifted guitarist. We rehearsed, played open mics, and began developing a band we called Fewer Days Ahead. The band did not fully come together, but the songs continued to grow.
Years later, new creative tools made it possible to turn those songs into studio demos and hear them with fuller arrangements, instrumentation, and voices.
That process led to a clearer purpose. The demos were not meant to be the final recordings. They were a way to present the songs to singers, bands, musicians, and producers who might make them their own.
Rainwater Studios was created as a home for that catalog.
Today, Rainwater Studios presents original songs through interpretive studio demos. Each demo is designed to show the melody, mood, and possibilities of the material while leaving room for a real artist to take it somewhere new.
